Every single one of our York Stone products is supplied directly from our premises in Surrey and Halifax. We can deliver to most parts of the UK using our vast network of independent haulage companies and depots to provide our customers with the most cost-effective York Stone delivery solutions. At York Stone Supplies, we know how important it is for your order to arrive safely and undamaged which is why we provide a range of options and discuss the best delivery solution for your needs.
Our times between order and delivery can vary depending on the product and the time of year but, at Yorkstone Supplies, we pride ourselves on our accurate lead times. We work with haulage companies to ensure your deliveries are made on time and in pristine condition so our lead times take this into account too. As all of our York stone is genuine and quarried directly from our own quarry to Halifax, lead times depend on the type of stone and the way it is treated to be the high-quality stone you’re expecting. Please see a list of our average lead times below:
- Bullnose York stone – 4 weeks
- Bespoke York stone – 4-6 weeks
- Non-Bespoke York stone – 2-3 days
Please contact us to find out more about availability and lead times for your chosen projects. We work extremely hard to ensure that you receive your delivery in time to complete your project. If we have stock availability on-site, lead times may be shorter so please contact our office to find out more.
For smaller orders, we use a shared load system and make full use of distribution depots in order to improve the efficiency of our nationwide delivery system. With this in place, we are able to arrange deliveries to most parts of the UK for very reasonable rates whatever the size of your order. This system can save you money on delivery costs and we can discuss options with you to make sure you receive your order in the most cost-efficient and quickest way.
For standard deliveries (up to 5 pallets), we can deliver in one load using a tail lift van to make unloading quick and easy at most premises.
For larger deliveries (up to 12 pallets) we use a HIAB and products will be unloaded to a suitable location to allow ease of unloading products from pallets or to keep in a safe place until the products are ready to be used. Please note that costs for larger deliveries may vary depending on your location so please let us know of any access issues when placing your order.
For deliveries containing up to 22 pallets, we use an articulated lorry with a ride on fork lift included. The ride on forklift is 8 feet wide and is an off-road vehicle which means that we can deliver the pallets to a place of your choosing and we’re able to unload on gravel drives.
Unless otherwise arranged, the vehicle making the delivery will have the facilities to unload your order with minimal damage and in a suitable location. However, please remember that someone will need to be present on-site to accept delivery.
If you have any concerns about large vehicles having difficulty in your locality or in gaining access to your property, please contact us to discuss this prior to ordering.
As all of our deliveries are made by third parties, we cannot be held liable for late deliveries. Someone must also be on-site to accept a York Stone delivery otherwise a redelivery charge will be passed on to the customer.
Delivery schedules can rarely be pinned down to specific times. We do strive to meet tight deadlines but as there are many factors beyond our control, we do require some flexibility with deliveries.
