Waterfoot is one of our best-loved crazy pavings, thanks to its very unusual colours. The unique blend of buff, purple, brown and grey tones looks especially good in this random style, giving it an extra level of variation. So if you’re searching for a distinctive and authentic feel for your patio or path, this could be just the ticket. All our Waterfoot crazy paving stones are hand-selected at the Waterfoot quarry, before being palletised piece by piece. This ensures you always get the exact quantity, combination and quality you want for a great-looking finish. Because they are a natural product each patch varies from the next, meaning it’s a good idea to take a close look before you order. We can send you a small sample for free, or a whole piece for a small charge, but the best way to get a feel for this stone is to take a look through our project images of our Waterfoot crazy paving laid.
We recommend a minimum of 10mm pointing gap for Waterfoot crazy paving, though this need to be even higher in places given the non-symmetrical shapes. If you’re laying it in a high traffic area or somewhere with lots of trees or foliage, we also recommend using a natural stone sealant to protect against staining and give it a bit more grip in wet weather.
As all of our stone is a quarried natural material, variations may occur in mineral content and there may also be slight marks or veining on the stone.
You can request a free sample of this York Stone product so you can get a feel for the look and texture, and although we try our best to ensure the sample is as close to the product as possible, we are unable to guarantee an exact replication of the sample provided. Please wet your sample to get an idea of how the stone will look when wet.
As with most things in life, they look different when dry or wet, and that's the same with our York Stone! Please see the colour variations icon to see the product when dry and when wet. There may also be a few images in the image gallery to show the difference.
