Our Purbeck Tonal Paving is a super hard wearing Purbeck limestone and it's one of the most fascinating because of all the different tones and shells within it.

Purbeck is pure pre-historic class. Quarried on the Jurassic Coast, it’s been used in some very famous projects (Westminster Abbey and Edward the Confessor’s shrine to name but two) so should be more than capable of handling yours. Purbeck stone has more colour options than Portland, some of which are suitable for an indoor /outdoor look. The Jurassic character is extremely prevalent in several looks – with shells and other fossils prominent in the grain.

Due to Purbeck Stone being a natural quarried product, it can have marks and natural veining, but the great thing is that this does add character to your project and your stone will be unique to you. You will also own your very own piece of British history!
